After more than two years, I finally say good bye to my Motorola Razr V3 with its custom purple shell. Say hello to my new baby, the G1! I’ve been doing so much text lately that a regular 10 key pad wasn’t cutting it. Plus all those commercials about apps and stuff had me really interested in what all the hub bub was about. Since my contract was going to be up in July, I figured I might have a good chance at getting an excellent deal. Which I did. I actually got the phone on the 13th but I kept forgetting to take a picture of it.

As a funny side note, before I mentioned my purchase to my friends, Starsha posted yesterday that she had gotten a G1! I had to laugh and respond to her post to tell her I had gotten one as well. She said she would post it on her 365 (eventually) which reminded me that I had to post mine here! Her hubby had gotten the Blackberry Pearl, which is one of the three I had been considering along with the new Sidekick LX. But the Blackberry just felt too bulky and the swivel screen on the Sidekick seemed a bit flimsy. All-in-all I am ecstatic with my new phone and hope it will serve me faithfully in the years to come.
